Where science meets stillness and transformation gets real. 


Shift Happens Co was born from Billie’s personal journey of healing through breathwork, meditation, and self-regulation. 


Now a certified life coach, NSDR/Yoga Nidra facilitator, and wellness guide with hands-on experience in residential behavioral health, working alongside therapists and holistic experts.


The platform blends ancient practices with modern brain science. 


Whether it’s deep rest, clarity coaching, or holistic wellness.

NSDR - meditation made easy

What is NSDR ?


NSDR stands for Non-Sleep Deep Rest — 

a modern term coined by Stanford neuroscientist Andrew Huberman to describe an ancient practice rooted in Yoga Nidra. 


Over years of study, teaching, and personal transformation, I’ve evolved this approach into my own way of guiding you into deep restoration.


Think of it as meditation made easy…
Instead of forcing focus or wrestling with your thoughts, this practice invites you to do the opposite —

to let go completely - do nothing ~


NSDR is pure neuroscience-backed relaxation. It’s designed to calm your nervous system, restore mental and physical energy, and give you access to states of deep rest you don’t usually reach in the middle of a busy day.


Here’s why it works: your perception — the way you experience stress, calm, focus, or rest — is directly tied to your nervous system. 


When we guide the breath in specific ways, we can slow down the heart rate, quiet the brain’s chatter, and shift the body into coherence.


This is where the magic happens: you drop into that space between waking and sleeping.

From thinking and doing… to being and feeling.
From the analytical mind… to the subconscious.


And how do we get there? Through breath and sensation.

Sound waves, light, warmth, the pressure of your body resting right now — all of these are physical events translated into electrical signals your brain can understand. 


By tuning into sensation instead of thought, you change your brain state. 

You release stress, planning, and anticipation. You move into deep rest.


This isn’t about escaping life. It’s about returning to yourself. Each session is a chance to reset — to undo the mess, and rewire the rest - one breath at the time.
